Obrasso Classic Events organises more than 35 events at KKL Luzern each year. It all began in 1998, when the Obrecht family convinced Lucerne’s City Council to support a new event: the “Lucerne World Band Festival”. The City Council consented, and the five-day festival became a great success with 9,000 listeners. The festival has now become a fixture of Lucerne’s cultural life.

The musical offerings are distinguished by an impressive range that encompasses folk music as well as classical performances and big-band swing. Today, Obrasso Classic Events GmbH from Lucerne is a nationally active concert agency.
